Listing your home with CAM
It is difficult to effectively broadcast to potential buyers your desire to sell your home with an assumable mortgage. A typical procedure would be to list your home with a local Real Estate Agent. The only real disadvantage of this is the Realtor’s commission that must be considered so that amount would typically be added on to the asking price. By doing so this may well place your home well above what others are willing to pay. Effectively marketed websites is the obvious means of getting the message out there. It is our goal to have all assumable mortgage listings in on place, right here!

Find a home with CAM
Finding a home that is eligible for an assumable mortgage is generally done in one of three ways; contacting your Real Estate Agent, watching the newspaper classifieds or noticing a sign on a home stating ‘Assumable Mortgage’. Now CAM is cataloguing these homes and placing them all under one directory for easy access of information including details of the CAM personal inspection, photographs and other pertinent details such as; mortgage holder, mortgage renewal date, monthly mortgage amounts, bank qualifications for an assumable mortgage, interest rates, taxes, monthly utility costs, description of the home and neighbourhood and much more. |

Becoming a CAM Member

Homes being offered for sale with CAM will remain registered and displayed up to the sale of the property or 6 months from the date of registration. Each home registered under CAM will be given a unique access code upon acceptance of your registration. Each CAM registration is based on a per home basis and charged at $125.00 each full membership.
As the seller you will be required to allow for a home inspection by CAM and you will need to provide all details and copies of your mortgage, taxes, information on your home, utility bills and information about the community in which you live.
CAM does not guarantee that your registration and membership will lead to the sale of your home but we will do our very best in building an accurate data base of homes with assumable mortgages currently available in Calgary. We in turn will offer this data base to CAM Purchasing Members which then have the ability to view these homes and details in the privacy of their home or office. You will choose how you wish to be contacted. CAM does not get involved in making appointments or any negotiations. That is between the buyer and seller.

If you are looking for a home with an assumable mortgage you should register as a ‘Purchasing Member’ here. This will entitle you to view all homes with assumable mortgages that are available in Calgary and area. Our data bases are available only to CAM members. You will have access to information on homes including; photos of exterior and interior, details of the CAM personal inspection, pertinent details such as the mortgage holder, mortgage renewal date, monthly mortgage amounts, qualifications for the assumable mortgage if any, interest rates, taxes, monthly utility costs, description of the home and information on the neighbourhood and much more. You will also have the contact information of the home and it will be completely up to you to arrange an appointment with the owner and negotiate and finalize the deal pertaining to the transfer of ownership of the property.
The cost for a purchasing a full access membership is $75.00 and you will have complete access to all current homes in the listing for a period of 6 months from the time of registration.

Homes can be personally inspected, photographed and catalogued with pertinent details such as; mortgage holder, total mortgage amount, mortgage renewal date, monthly mortgage payments, qualifications for assuming the mortgage, interest rates, taxes, monthly utility costs, condition and description of the home and neighbourhood and much more. Our list of homes is not available to the general public but to CAM members only. The membership process attracts serious buyers and eliminates ‘tire kickers’. |
